For iPhone 4 purchases made before July 23, 2010, you must apply no later than August 22, 2010; otherwise, you must apply within 30 days of your iPhone 4 purchase. To qualify for this program, you must purchase your iPhone 4 by September 30, 2010.

Well Apple iPhone 4 Press Conference is over and this is just gonna be a brief overview of what happened..

well Steve Jobs came on stage and just showed how this problem does affect other phones first held a Blackberry Bold 9700 and bars went from 5 to 1 then held a HTC Droid Eris normally and goes from 4 bars to 0 sound familiar? Samsung Omnia III went from 4 bars to 1 but took a while to do it.

Then they went over statistics such as only 0.55% of iPhone 4 people have called AppleCare about the reception issue thats less then 1% then the iPhone 3GS Return Rate is 6% as the iPhone 4′s is at 1.7% so in short cant be that big of a problem cause people aint returning their phone or calling Apple..

But because Apple is such a great company the first iPhone they dropped the price so they gave everyone a $100 credit which dont see any other company ever doing… They are gonna give all you whinny bitches a Free iPhone 4 Case/Bumper.. They dont have enough Apple Bumpers though for everyone so will be outsourcing some of the cases…

Apple will be holding a Conference tomorrow 10am PST at their Campus.

Apple will be holding a press conference Friday 10am at their campus no other info has been given but it is suggested they will discuss the iPhone 4 Reception Non-Issue

Apple this morning has released iPhone Software Update 2.2 as well as iPod Touch Software Update 2.2

AT&T has announced that they are now offering free Wi-Fi access to iPhone subscribers across the U.S.

AT&T provided a number of early hints that the service would be coming. AT&T has also sent out an SMS message to iPhone users announcing the plan.

Customers can locate Wi-Fi spots through AT&T’s online tool or can locate a Starbucks using this tool. In order to access AT&T Wi-Fi from your iPhone, you must follow these steps:

- Activate Wi-Fi from the settings icon on your iPhone
- Select “attwifi” from the list of available networks
- Enter your 10-digit mobile number and check the box to agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. Tap ‘continue’
- You will receive a text message from AT&T with a secure link to the AT&T Wi-Fi hotspot. You will not be charged for the text message.
- The SMS link will only be valid for 24 hours at the location it was requested. Another request must be submitted when using another hotspot location.
